The Starbucks Coffee Company asked R. W. Thorpe & Associates, Inc. to provide assistance with permit applications, permit tracking and management of various store & cafe development projects.

The first task was to organize a team flow chart to outline the flow of information and the role of each member. The next item we provided was a system for weekly project status tracking and a "distribution tree" for the data.

 

With these systems and tools in place, we have assisted in the site survey, permit submittal, permit follow-up and permit issuance for over 30 sites in less than five months.

 

R. W. Thorpe& Associates, Inc. remains on call to Starbucks for special consulting needs. The nature of these services is somewhat proprietary and client privilege based. Due to the respect we have for our client's needs, we will not provide any further detail on these matters.
