CONCEPTUAL MASTER PLAN

 

 

Client: Schaake Corporation

Project Size: 260+ Acres

 

This conceptual master plan was comprised of several different land uses. The site was divided into an office/high technology campus, commercial center, senior and multifamily housing, and open space. The Yakima River runs along the west boundary of the site. A greenbelt was incorporated to buffer the river from development and provide views and recreation with a trail for pedestrians and cyclists. A restaurant, hotel, and conference center was located at the north entrance and was accessible from Interstate 90. A four-lane boulevard connected the office uses.

 

Another portion of land was north east of the office and high-tech campus. A mixed use was proposed for this site. Approximately 9,000 square feet was commercial, 6,000 square feet was restaurant, 1,000 square feet was multifamily, and 218,000 square feet was senior housing. There were also creeks and wetlands on this site. Active and passive recreation, picnic areas, and a gazebo were located near the residences.
